For a limited time, customers who select a Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 will receive a Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket or Samsung Galaxy S II smart phone at no cost. More information can be found at www.att.com/tablets. There are no tablet rate plan requirements for the deal. A two year standard data and voice plan are required for smartphone you choose. The best part of AT&T's Samsung Galxy Tab 8.9 deal is 4G. What is 4G? It is AT&Ts fourth generation mobile broadband network, and it means faster download speeds, which means quicker access to all the things you need. AT&T has upgraded the software of its nationwide mobile broadband network with HSPA+ which, with enhanced backhaul, enables speeds up to 4x faster than AT&T's already fast mobile bioadband speeds. AT&T is also offering limited 4G LTE availability in select markets, and the Galaxy Tab is capable of operating on the AT&T blazing 4G LTE and HSPA+ networks.
With AT&T's DataConneet plans for tablets, users can buy the prepaid or postpaid mobile broadband data service that fits their needs, whether they're an occasional user or want to stay connected all the time. AT&T tablet customers can choose a $35, 3 GB monthly data plan option with a two-year contract, and customers who do not choose a long-Term commitment may still select one of two existing monthly billing options for tablets: Postpaid: $14.99 for 250 MB or $25 for 2 GB; Prepaid: $14.99 for 250 MB or $25 for 2 GB.
AT&T LTE smartphone customers can choose from Tiered data plans starting as low as $15 per month. Existing smartphone customers do not have to make changes to their data plan. All plans include access to AT&T's national Wi-Fi network of more than 29,000 hotspots.
