WHAT TO DO WITH CREMATED REMAINS
Families have several options with the final placement of cremated remains.
INURNMENT. The remains can be placed in an urn and permanently located in a. glass or marble fronted niche in an air conditioned Chapel Mausoleum.
BURIAL. A second option involves burying the cremated remains below ground. Burials of cremated remains can be in a family plot or in special areas available in many cemeteries.
SCATTERING. Cremated remains may be scattered anywhere as long as permission is sought from the owners of the property. One drawback with scattering ashes is that there may be no way to memorialize the site. The other concern is that you may not have access to that area in the future.
Another option combines the desire to scatter and memorialize a loved one. Today, many families are choosing to scatter a portion of the cremated remains while retaining a portion to be placed within a cemetery allowing your family a place to visit and memorialize.
